For Fly and Whip, rap is much more than just techno beats and fast-pace rhythm but an opportunity to express reality which is why their underlying theme is 'keeping it real'.
Facts:
* Fly brought his first album to Fiji in 2003 but radio stations did not play it because rap was not big at the time;
* Has been trying to bring rap to Fiji for the last six years;
* Made an album with EPIC in NZ titled When World's Collide;
* Organised and hosted free-styling competitions in from 2005 to 2007 at USP;
* Attended primary school with David Whippy aka Whip who features on his upcoming album
