Bula Pacifika
Music: Patrick Josse - Lyrics: Zaren (Fly) Latef
I Feel the sun's rays every single day
Look to the beach where the kids love to play
That's the life I live man it's the best
Every persons dream from the east to the west
Coconut trees ad mist the beautiful breeze
A land so hot you will never ever freeze
So take a mental picture of a place that is richer
Head to the island for a real adventure
Snorkel on the beach or dive in the ocean
Or just lie in the sun with your taining lotion
Whatever you want the island got the motion
so put your feet up and sip that magic potion
Bula ....Bula Pacifika
Bula ....Bula Pacifika
I'm in the hot sun
With my bottle of rum
the day has just began
Everyone's having fun
The people are all smiles
No more hard trials
The sand does stretch for miles
Coz that's the Island styles
Bula ....Bula Pacifika
Bula ....Bula Pacifika
We grow Casava and we grow the Dalo
And nobody worries about tomorrow
Why should we care we got no sorrow
Nothing is owned we just all borrow
So come and join us what's the fuss?
Kava every night that's a must
We sit and laugh from dawn to dusk
The people are friendly who else can you trust?
Common everybody shake that body
Common Common Common....
Common everybody start the party
Common Common Common....
Common everybody put your drinks up..
Common Common Common....
No matter where you from no matter what you done
Pacific islanders know how to have fun
Street Control
Music: Patrick Josse - Lyrics: Zaren (Fly) Latef & Patrick Josse
The pain that we see
Got the blood on the street
The people retreat
Coz the hurt is so deep, hurt is so deep
But still I can see
What can make us all free
From the ground we will rise
To fight this pain… this pain and misery
We got to fight this pain
All the children locked in chain
Lord let it rain
Wash away the bloodstain
Nothing is the same
Killing’s just a game
Watching all these murders
Is driving me insane
So what are we suppose to do
Kicking it with our little crew
Drinking home brew
Listening to all the bad news
Bullets are our tools
Treasured more than jewels
The power of the gun
Make people act like fools
The pain that we see
Got the blood on the street
The people retreat
Coz the hurt is so deep, hurt is so deep
But still I can see
What can make us all free
From the ground we will rise
To fight this pain… this pain and misery
Put your hands to the clouds
All my peoples stand proud
Put our voice together
Make the killing disallowed
It’s time for a change
It’s still within our range
All this fear and hatred
Got my people acting strange.
No more fight
No more gangs
No more bloodstain on our hands
No more murders
No more wars
What’s the bloody cause?
No more fighters
No more guns
No more killing little ones
What’s the purpose
What’s the aim
But really….who’s to blame?
It’s time for peace
Time for love
Time to free the white dove
Time for god
Time for prayer
Time to leave the devil’s lair
Time for joy
Time for laughter
Time to live ever after
Time for me
Time for you
Time to make our dreams true
Speech about wars…..
The pain that we see
Got the blood on the street
The people retreat
Coz the hurt is so deep, hurt is so deep
But still I can see
What can make us all free
From the ground we will rise
To fight this pain… this pain and misery
